{Free Printable} Gumball Machine Gift Tags

I recently found these plastic gumball machines in the candy section at the Dollar Tree. Immediately, the wheels started turning with ideas… Fill with coordinating candy! Personalize them! Party takeaways! I bought 2 in each color (red, blue, yellow) and when I put the first 3 together, realizing how cute they were, I went back to get another group of six. Yeah, when I get an idea, I tend to go overboard with it :) Then I created some cute tags to go with, because I’m super matchy like that.

Gumball Machine Tags

If you have a Cricut/Silhouette, you can get pretty fancy in personalizing these with some vinyl lettering. I do have a Cricut, but only the default cartridge (with that sucky George font), so I elected to use alphabet stickers from Michael’s instead.

Supplies needed

SUPPLIES NEEDED:

Gumball machine – Dollar Tree – $1
Candy (mmm, Lemonheads) – Dollar Tree – $1 x 2 bags = $2
Alphabet stickers – Michael’s (use 40% off coupon) – $2
Ribbon – on hand
Clear gift bag (small size) – Michael’s – 2 in pkg. for $1
Paper shred – Dollar Tree – $1
Curling ribbon – on hand

It actually takes 2.5 bags of the Lemonheads to fill to the tippy top. You could use any candy you want, as long as it fits through the spigot! I made a red one for my cousin with Red Hots :) A red one with cherry sours would be super awesome too! Please note, the photo above shows the “Medium” clear gift bags from Michael’s. You’ll actually need the small (maybe even the ex-small could work?). Medium would be HUGE, but I had already torn up the packaging on the smalls :P

Now dress it up!

Just put it all together and tie it off with the curling ribbon and gift tag. If you’re not a fan of the curling ribbon look, tying a bow with another coordinating ribbon would be cute too.
