Mission complete! Valentine Candy Buffet

Tiffani’s bridal shower was this past weekend and it was such a blast! Seriously so much fun! I love my girls! They’re so fun-loving and supportive :D The candy buffet was a HUGE hit! Everyone fussed over how cute/detailed it came out, so yes – my ego is pretty stroked right now. LOL ;) I’m just relieved we pulled it all off without a hitch… it was a TON of planning and work, but so worth it! Unfortunately, pretty much every photo I took came out completely BLURRY! :( I hadn’t even started in on the wine yet! ;) I think I had my camera’s settings screwed up though. Here are a few images that came out okay enough to give a basic idea of the layout…

Bridal Shower, Valentine Candy Buffet

I will definitely need a larger table next time! Things were kind of squished, but we made it work. The table we used was 2×4. Definitely need at least a 4×6 table I think, or even larger! I know several other folks took photos of the candy buffet too, so we’ll see if I can’t get my hands on some higher quality photos. Still… not too bad for my first candy buffet!

I also went to the Gem Show in Tucson and loaded up on LOTS of pretty baubles! I’m going to be even more blinged out than ever! (If that’s even possible).

Now we have 6 weeks until the actual wedding and I’ve got to get some discipline over my eating. We ate/drank so much this weekend with all the candy, mexican food, wine and strawberry margaritas! Ugh.
