Tomorrow is our big moving day! The movers show up at 9AM tomorrow and in true (procrastinating) form, we still have A LOT to do before then! Yikes! This will be my last post for a while. Cable/internet doesn’t get hooked up until Monday and I’m not sure how long it will take me to unearth myself from the piles of moving boxes!
Our master bedroom is currently teal/chocolate brown. The bedroom furniture is also an espresso brown, so unforunately it was way too much brown! (Kinda like a Jello Pudding Pop threw up in there!) Our existing quilt (brown!) was starting to look pretty shabby as well. So we bought a new set and ended up going in a completely different color direction. I’m super de-duper stoked about it because the new color palette includes GREY!!!! I was surprised hubby went for it. He actually really likes grey, so both the master bedroom and bathroom are going grey! :) I’m excited about it but also a little annoyed because all those frames/knick-knacks I spray painted in “Bahama Sea” are not gonna fit the bill. It’s cool though, I’ve armed myself with a new array of spray paints in coordinating colors!

So grey, yellow and brick red it will be! I’ve already purchased the rug and the quilt set. The rest are just ideas. I want to throw in some white to neutralize as well. As usual, we’re doing this “on a budget” (gah, I hate that phrase!). We’ll see how it truly comes out!
